—— PT Family-built since one carpenter

Built end‑to‑end. By one family.

Three generations of carpenters, engineers, and developers under one roof. Investing, engineering, and completion of residential and commercial work across British Columbia’s Lower Mainland — the same family draws the line and pours the slab.

Most projects pass through five firms before a single nail is driven. We are all five — and we have been for three generations.

Lineage
Bansal Group started as one carpenter on the Lower Mainland. Three generations later we still build with the same hands — only now the family includes engineers, developers, and project leads.
Practice
Investing, engineering, and completion. Residential low- and mid-rise development, custom homes, commercial work, renovations, and additions — from Surrey to the North Shore.
Integration
Structural and geotechnical engineering kept in‑house. Fewer hand‑offs, fewer surprises, faster permits.
Care
Every home we build is enrolled in a homeowner care program — warranty, seasonal check-ins, and a single number that rings the same family that built it.

Three lines of work, one roof.

We are happy to walk a current project on request. Some homes are under NDA until close.

Request a site visit

Four stages. One point of contact.

A predictable rhythm built from doing this end-to-end, every time. You receive the same updates whether we are coring a slope or commissioning a HVAC system.

Stage 01 Week 0–3

Feasibility & site review

We walk the land, review the title, run a quick pro forma, and tell you whether the project is worth your money. No retainer until both sides agree there is a project.

Stage 02 Week 3–14

Design, engineering & permits

Architectural coordination, in-house structural and geotechnical, and a permit package the city will actually accept on the first cycle.

Stage 03 Week 14–52+

Construction

Our crews, our supervision. A weekly photo log, a fixed schedule, and a budget tracked to the line item.

Stage 04 Years 1–5

Homeowner care

Walkthrough, deficiency list, seasonal check-in, warranty. A single number that rings the same team that built it.

Interior of a Bansal Group home — living and kitchen in open plan, wood paneling, fireplace. Detail · Open Plan Interior

The shortest line between drawing and pour.

A typical custom home crosses six firms — architect, structural, geotechnical, civil, builder, sub. We tightened the loop. The engineer who stamps the drawing is on a first-name basis with the foreman who reads it, because they grew up in the same house.

TransparentA pro forma that includes the things other firms forget to mention. Any line item is yours to ask about.
TimelyFirst-cycle permits, not third. We carry the relationships that get drawings reviewed quickly.
QuietOne project lead. One thread. No mass-CC’d emails. No accidental tradesmen at your door.
DurableWe build for the next generation. Materials, assemblies, and details that age into themselves.

A home, looked after for the long after.

Most builders disappear at handover. We stay. Every Bansal home is enrolled in a care program from day one — included with every new build, available to renovation clients on retainer.

Seasonal check-ins

Twice a year a project lead walks the home — caulk, grout, exterior envelope, mechanicals — before small things become repair bills.

Warranty, on paper

2‑5‑10 BC home warranty backed by us, not an underwriter you have to chase. If something is ours, it is ours to fix.

One number

A direct line — text or call. Your project lead, the same one who handed you the keys, picks up.

Future-proof binder

Drawings, materials, paint codes, mechanical specs — an organized digital binder. When you sell, the next owner gets the answer.

Jas Bansal — Third Generation Bansal Group of Companies

A studio that builds what it draws.

Bansal Group of Companies began as one carpenter on the Lower Mainland. His savvy and remarkable head for the business grew the agency into a contributor to the landscape of Vancouver and the cities around it.

Three generations later, the family business is led by Jas Bansal. What started at a single bench is now four integrated practices — investing, engineering, completion, and homeowner care. We are intentionally small, intentionally vertical, and intentionally local.

We take on a handful of projects each year. Most of our work still comes from clients of past clients — and the children of past clients.

We never wanted to be the biggest builder on the Lower Mainland. We wanted to be the one a client calls back to build their second home — and their daughter calls to build her first.
— Jas Bansal, Third Generation

Tell us about your site, your plan, your hope.

Most consults are forty-five minutes. We will walk through your site, your budget, and an honest read on whether what you want to build is worth building. If it is not, we will say so.
